Sourcing Materials
All the materials used are purchased by us from reliable and reputable sources.
We only use readymade items as accessories or finishings.
Creating
Whether it is needlecraft, scrollsaw work or lasercraft, all our products start with raw materials that take many hours of work to produce the final item.
Finishing
The products that we produce are NOT toys. The needlecraft ‘toys’ are collectable and individual. Our scrollsaw and laser items are, where necessary, sealed in food-safe oils.
We are often asked ‘why do you do it?’ Why do we spend all our time and money making things to sell when we do not benefit from it as everything goes to charity.
The answer is simple.
All our working lives were spent in careers where we helped others. Others who were less fortunate than us; others in dangerous or difficult home circumstances; others in financial difficulties; others who were victims of partners or criminals.
When we retired, and then had the time to devote to continue helping others, we decided to do so by using some our skills to make items that could be sold to raise funds for charities and good causes.
So we do benefit, in knowing that we are helping someone, somewhere.
